This trip begins like any other for a young student without a
job; by getting a loan from the world famous Bank of Mom and Dad. Of
course they may claim it to be a donation; an act of kindness; but it is
in fact a well disguised loan, which they may chose to leverage against
you, most likely when it suits them best. (This may not be true in all
cases, but I know if I had kids I probably would. As a matter of fact I
would bring it up every time we talk just because I can...I bet my kids
are gonna love me for that.)
As with any loan, it has
its costs and you have to hope that your investment is worth far more
than the interest rates that come along with it and I am hoping for the
best. Although I have to admit I feel fortunate and blessed to be given
this loa...uh...I mean opportunity and I have known people who have
worked their asses off to be able to do something like this, so I would
like to thank the World Bank of Mom and Dad for this
opportunity and I will
try and repay you as soon as possible, with interest, of course.
P.S.
Mom
and dad I love you very much and if you do read this I'd like you to
know that I am nothing but grateful for all that you have given me. No
words can possibly express how grateful I am for everything and I will
try to do my best in life, if not for me, I will for the both of you.
